PreCheck, Inc. Continues Growing in Alamogordo, meeting Economic Development Council commitments; brining 46 jobs to the community
Alamogordo, New Mexico – To commemorate the anniversary of announcing its plans for expansion in Alamogordo, PreCheck, Inc. today provided an update on its growth initiatives.
“We have come a long way in just one year and that success is attributable to our talented employees and great partners: the state of New Mexico, the Otero County Economic Development Council, and the City of Alamogordo,” stated Bruce Smith, chief operating officer of PreCheck, Inc. “Together, we have built a 20,000 square-foot facility and we are bringing jobs to this vibrant community.”
An update on PreCheck, Inc.’s expansion in Alamogordo:
· February 2006– Receives development funds from New Mexico and the City of Alamogordo to assist in the construction of an office building and staffing development.
· May 18, 2006 – Construction begins.
· January 2007– Twelve employees hired.
· January 22, 2007 – Doors open to PreCheck’s 20,000 square-foot facility, located at 3453 Las Palomas Road.
Currently, there are a total of 16 employees with four more expected to start in March, which will meet PreCheck’s first year commitment to the Otero County Economic Development Council. By then end of 2007, PreCheck is expected to have a total of 46 employees.
