Maryland Hospital Association Background Check Program Expands and Endorses Three More of PreCheck’s Products
Houston, TX – PreCheck, Inc ., a leader in background screening and credentialing for the healthcare industry, announced this month, the endorsement by the Maryland Hospital Association (MHA) and PRIME, a group purchasing organization.
The relationship between PreCheck and MHA began in March of 2006, when MHA and PRIME asked PreCheck to assist in student background screening efforts. PreCheck’s StudentCheck product offered an easy-to-use, complete student background screening and management system for schools and clinical sites. As the program has grown, MHA commends PreCheck on delivering on all commitments and proving its excellent capabilities.
Four new services, along with StudentCheck, are now endorsed jointly by MHA and PRIME and are available to PRIME members through PreCheck, Inc.
- PreCheck Background Screening provides pre-employment background checks that meet Joint Commission requirements
- PractitionerCheck offers criminal background checks for medical staffing and allied health professionals
- EmployCheck manages employment verification request required by healthcare organizations’ current and previous employees
- VendorCheck provides a vendor crendentialing and screening management system for healthcare facilities to provide assurance that vendor visitors are properly credentialed and have a background check
All PreCheck products are web-based and MHA perceives the services to provide major process improvements that increase efficiencies to their member hospitals. Two of the four endorsed PreCheck products are offered at no-cost to hospitals.
